WHISPERS OF THE NORTH
Discover the stunning landscapes and unique culture of the Faroe Islands. From dramatic waterfalls and tranquil lakes to charming villages and local experiences, this itinerary offers an unforgettable adventure. Explore the islands' natural beauty, enjoy outdoor activities, and experience Faroese traditions.
Our adventure begins as we touch down in the Faroe Islands. After making our way to the accommodation and checking in, we’ll have time to explore the surroundings, get familiar with the area, and ease into the trip. No big plans for today—just a chance to relax, grab a bite to eat, and get ready for the days ahead.
The day kicks off with a visit to Skardsafossur, a hidden gem that’s off the main tourist path but well worth the stop. From there, we hop on a ferry to Mykines, a rugged island famous for its dramatic cliffs and thriving puffin colonies. We’ll spend the day hiking the trails, soaking in the wild coastal views, and getting up close with the puffins. Expect fresh sea air, sweeping landscapes, and the raw beauty of the Faroes.
First up is Sørvágsvatn, the legendary lake that appears to hover above the ocean. We’ll walk along the cliffs, take in the illusion from the best vantage points, and for those feeling adventurous, there’s an option to kayak. Next, we tackle the Witches Finger Trail, a scenic hike leading to a striking rock formation with an incredible panoramic view at the top. We end the day with dinner at a traditional Faroese farm, tasting local dishes and getting a glimpse into daily life on the islands.
In the Faroe Islands, we’ll be staying in carefully selected accommodations that offer a comfortable and inviting environment. We take great care in handpicking each location to ensure your stay is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Please also note that rooms will be shared with individuals of the same gender, with a maximum of three people per room, ensuring a pleasant and respectful atmosphere throughout your stay.

The morning takes us to Kallur Lighthouse, perched on cliffs with sweeping views in every direction. The hike up is relatively easy, but the scenery makes it unforgettable. In the afternoon, we switch gears with a Whiskey and Gin Distillery Tour, where we’ll learn how Faroese ingredients are used in crafting unique spirits—complete with a tasting to wrap up the experience.
The final morning is all about taking it slow—one last breakfast, packing up, and saying farewell to the Faroe Islands. For those with extra time before the flight, there’s a chance to take a final stroll and soak in the last moments of this incredible place.
